How to Do Email Less?
There are tools out there to avoid endless exchange of emails…
Doodle to Schedule an event…
… such as a board meeting, business lunch, conference call, family reunion, film night, or any other group event.
The organizer proposes some dates for a meeting, people invited put their names and availability. It is then very easy to see which date is suitable for everybody, without having to read all the emails from everybody. Fix a target date for the answer, and you are done!
The World Clock Meeting Planner
Need to make a call to someone far away? Need to arrange a videoconference, telephone- or net-based meeting with several people spread around the globe? This utility should help you find a convenient time, so that no one has to be up during the middle of the night…
Reading the news
As a marketing, we need to be aware of the market news everyday. Nonetheless, I never found that email was the best choice.
Instead, I use Netvibes, where I have put all the news on one page. It takes me one minute to check the news, and I avoid 5 more emails to open in my mailbox…. I have a private and a public page on Netvibes. It is extremely easy to add feeds from any sites you are interested in.
Any other tools you know which can be used instead of emails? Let me know in the comments!
